FOZZY Film Energy Drink Commercial

FOZZY, the band featuring vocalist Chris Jericho (of WWE wrestling fame) and former members of STUCK MOJO, just got back last weekend from filming a commercial out in Los Angeles for the Stacker 2 energy drink YJ Stinger. The group are scheduled to enter the studio this week to begin recording their third album, tentatively due late summer through an as-yet-undisclosed label.

As previously reported, Jericho's recent collaboration with FOZZY guitarist Rich Ward, a song entitled "Don't You Wish You Were Me", is featured on the new "WWE Originals" CD, which came out last month through Columbia Records. An audio preview of the track can be heard online at this location. Jericho and Ward also recorded a version of the KISS classic "King Of The Nighttime World" for a new KISS tribute record, "Spin the Bottle", due on April 27 through Koch Records. Joining the duo during the recording sessions were former ALICE IN CHAINS/OZZY OSBOURNE bassist Mike Inez and ex-CINDERELLA drummer Fred Coury.
